We welcomed Bonkers into our Lemondrop family in July of 2017. He was raised by a loving family who had him since he was a 3 day old chick, but sadly they were unable to keep roosters so Bonkers had to find a new home. Bonker's was the young son's favorite chick (he also give him his name!), so they wanted to be sure he went somewhere that he could happily live out his days.

Bonkers happily lived with the chickens in their pasture for over two years, until a wild animal attack that took the lives of all but four of the chicken flock. You can read more about the attack here and here.
