At Lemondrop we understand the heartache of losing a beloved family member. Although it isn't the focus of what we do, in emergency situations we will help animals in need if it is in a dangerous or life threatening situation.

We do occasionally help with lost or stray animals. each animal is held in a separate pen or kennel until  either their family is found, or we pass the time criteria for holding a lost pet and find them a new home. We make every effort to reunite lost pets with their families. For every lost animal we take in, we post ads online and/or through social media.

If you have lost your pet, please contact us directly with the following:

Name, Age, Color, Distinguishing Marks, Breed, Weight, Detailed Description, Rabies tag number (if applicable and animal was wearing collar at time), Any Accessories (halter, jacket, collar, etc), Location Last Seen or Missing From. We also need your name, phone number, email and home address.

We do not provide photos or descriptions of found animals for security purposes.

Because not everyone has noble intentions, WE WILL NOT RELEASE ANY ANIMAL WITHOUT CONFIRMATION OF VET RECORDS AS PROOF OF OWNERSHIP. This is for the safety of the animals.

If any emergency medical or other required expenses have been incurred, the owner will be required to pay them at the time he or she claims the animal.
