Harley & Penelope
Harley and Penelope were taken in by a kind family from two different homes where they weren't being properly cared for.
When the family was no longer able to care for them, they called Lemondrop and asked us to give them sanctuary. We welcomed them into our Farm Family, and have been with us since 2012. They are very tightly bonded and sleep side by side.
Penelope passed in late 2017. We and Harley all miss her greatly, but she is fondly remembered. We don't know how old she was at the time we took her in, so we believe it was old age. Penelope deserved angel wings.
Harley who is half blind, continues to live with us at Lemondrop. He loves baked sweets for treats, and especially being rubbed behind the ears!
