Raven was a kitten brought to us in late 2015 with two of his siblings, the others were adopted, but Raven remained -- likely because he is nearly solid black and often superstition keeps people from adopting black cats. He grew attached to our volunteers and was one of our very few farm cats.

During the disaster of Hurricane Michael, we were heartbroken to discover that Raven lost his life while taking shelter in one of our storage buildings that was completely destroyed. We are heartbroken over the loss of our beloved cat, and still miss him daily.
