Whew! So much has happened this last couple weeks since our last blog.
Two of the small babies that our supporter Virgina asked us to find homes for, have found their forever homes! Leia (Pippa) and Jackson (Max) went to their new familes, and oh my gosh are they happy.
Jackson was adopted by one of our long time volunteers and dedicated supporters, Jackson has joined his other two cheweenie babies who are in their late teens, as the newest and youngest member of the family.
Leia had one of the most successful home visits that we have ever seen, she instantly fell in love and began to play with her new sister Willow (also a rescue). She is quite the princess and although we miss having her with us at the farm -- I don't think she is missing us all that much!
Luke seems to be growing a mile a minute. He is now larger than all of our canine residents except for the largest (an American bull mix). We are transitioning him outdoors so he can eat the fresh green grass that is growing in all the pastures. He tends to enjoy the rose leaves and aloe plant more than the grass, and is constantly trying to sneak inside to jump up on the chairs and couch. Luke has also figured out how to open the baby gate we have over the door, to let the dogs outside into their acre pasture that is fenced especially for
