October Update
Quick Lemondrop updates for the week
We are 20% of funding raised for our mandatory expenses for October.
The deal that had been pending for the used secondary vehicle fell through after 3 months of waiting, so the funds raised that went toward that will be applied to repairing the current vehicle we use to pick up/drop off donations.
We have been busy working hard to raise funding, apply for local grants to help offset the deficit which we are currently working at. With little to no success so far.
All our programs are still running, both at the Sanctuary and with the Community Outreach. Our California Community Food Outreach has finally relaunched thanks to local businesses partnering with us, so local families and at risk people in need are receiving food donations again - we will have estimated numbers of people/families reached soon. In Florida we are estimated to reach 1000 people each week with our Community Outreach.

Our work is vital. Both caring for rescued animals, and providing food and necessities to people in desperate need.
