February is here!
reetings everyone!
We have been SO busy that our last January blog is a few days late.
There has been so much food and household essentials distributed through Lemondrop Community Outreach in the last few weeks that our heads are still spinning. We distribute through 4 major points, both in the local Tallahassee/Quincy/Havana Florida area, as well as Pomona California.
Our January donations have been exceptionally low, which makes it impossible for us to cover our mandatory expenses (such as the electric bill), while still maintaining such an incredibly volume of work and sorting through physical tangible donations to be distributed. We are looking into ways for our supporters to directly pay to our bill, so that everyone has peace of mind that their donations are going directly toward specific expenses of their choosing. We will let you know the progress of that.
Until then, please continue to support us via our PayPal -- you can designate if your donation to go to a specific place (Community Outreach, Animals, Gas, Bills, etc). Each donation is absolutely necessary to keep our doors open, the animals cared for, and food/household items going to people in need. Please help us continue our vital work! $5 a month is not much to contribute to an amazing cause.
Lemondrop urgently needs Volunteers! Both to volunteer for help with Community Food Outreach (specifically donation pick up and drop off), and help with lawn service.
We need Volunteers for specific days willing to pick up donated items for our Community Outreach, and deliver them to specific drop points. These would be scheduled days, ongoing or rotating weekly. Please message us, email or text for more information. All Volunteers have to pass a background check (used to ensure no history of animal cruelty charges etc), and sign a nda/rol prior to volunteering.

A huge thank you and all our love to our current Volunteers and supporters who have been SO faithful through the societal instability of the last couple years.
We are all well and healthy, just haven't had much time to post blogs or videos of the animals. We do post (almost) daily on our Facebook, so please follow us there as it is kept current much more frequently.
Love from us all!
