Happy New Year!
Greetings everyone!
It's hard to believe we finally made it through 2021 and reached 2022. Goodness!
We are all happy and healthy here at Lemondrop, and are very thankful to be in a new year at last.
Christmas eve we spent collecting another huge load of food to be distributed on Christmas Day. What better way to spend the holiday, than giving back? An incredible thank you to Laura, Zoey and Bill whom have given so much this year -- especially over the holidays -- both to Volunteer their time, and to support our Volunteers and enabling us to continue our work.
We are ready to jump into a new year with both feet! How about you?
If you're considering (or already have gotten), a new vehicle this year and are wondering what to do with your old, unused or unsightly older vehicle -- think of Lemondrop first! Full information can be found HERE.
At Lemondrop we won't sell your used car or vehicle for profit, like other charities do -- All vehicles are put toward Lemondrop's programs (Lemondrop Farm Sanctuary & Lemondrop Community Outreach). Functioning vehicles are either used by our volunteers to pick up donations, or they're fixed up and passed to families in need in the local community. Non working vehicles that cannot be fixed are sold for salvage and the money is put toward keeping Lemondrop's programs going!
As a Federally registered 501c3 Nonprofit organization, we are able to provide a Tax Donation Receipt for the FULL value of any donated vehicle! (The same way that Goodwill does)
As always a huge thank you to all our supporters, volunteers, donors and friends who give so much to us each day, enabling us to continue and persevere!
