Horse Shelter Update

Thankfully Hurricane Nate is going to miss us! We were concerned, as the track initially showed that it would be another direct hit on Tallahassee, and with their shelter still not replaced - the horses and donkeys would have been out in the storm. Thankfully it won't be quite as bad, but it will still be raining and storming today and tomorrow, and unfortunately the horses will have to be out in the elements.

We are currently at $820 of the $2000 we need to give the horses a permanent structure. If you are looking to help with Hurricane Irma relief, please look to your local Farm Sanctuary and support us in our time of need! We are currently caring for 25 equine, we took in an additional 17 who needed a place to go post-Irma.

We need your help to continue our vital mission and give shelter to these beautiful animals who have already been through so much.

I apologize that there are no pictures or links with this blog, our very old donated computer finally gave up yesterday so I am typing this on a mobile app. If you have an old computer you don't use anymore, we would really appreciate it!

Thank you for your support. From all of us at Lemondrop.
