Merry Christmas!

Everyone here at Lemondrop is very excited about Christmas!

Lemondrop (the pig) and Hannah are showing off their Christmas dress and sweater. They love looking at the twinkle lights in the windows, and Lemondrop would likely enjoy nibbling on the tree if we allowed her to get that close.

Yesterday we accepted our two newest residents and Lemondrop family/flock members! Meet Shmoo and Gizmo!

So far they are a bit overwhelmed by all the noise of their new relatives, but they are quickly finding their place in the flock. Both of these gorgeous men came from a loving family, but they fought for dominance in their old flock and hurt not only each other but the hens as well. As you can see, they aren't allowed to fight amid our flock!

Artie and BlackBird are keeping a watchful rooster eye on them from above on their lofty perch.
