Just a very quick message today.
I know money is always tight over the summer, it always is for us at Lemondrop as well. We are currently at 45% of our mandatory monthly expenses goal for August, which puts us at a negative for the bills that will be due next week.
If you are able to help, we would be grateful. We need $500 to cover our mandatory bills by Wednesday.
Please encourage your local businesses who give grants or neighborhood funding to nonprofits, to donate to Lemondrop. Covid has been especially hard on us, but we are determined to remain functional. This will not end us.

A huge thank you to Robert, Phyllis and Ray for their extra donations this month. A special fond memory for Robert's best friend, a rescue kitty named Murphy, who passed this last week at 17 years old. We send Robert all our love and prayers.
