Just a reminder that ALL of our "Staff" (including our Board of Directors and full time on-site volunteers) are 100% UNPAID and VOLUNTEER all of their time. No one receives a paycheck on our team. We do not use any money raised for expensive and wasteful marketing. Every single dollar goes directly toward the Operational Expenses that keep our doors open. Unlike other local rescues, who receive HUGE government grants and run TV ads, Lemondrop does not receive ANY government or local funding.
